Project Description:
The Nickelodeon Branded Hotel and Residences is a mixed-use hospitality and entertainment development featuring a 6-story tower and an 8-story tower, both elevated above two stories of structured parking. As part of the Everest Place masterplan, the project delivers a fully immersive Nickelodeon-themed experience with playful accommodations, diverse dining options, and dynamic entertainment spaces, creating a one-of-a-kind destination for families.
Scope of Work:
BSPK was engaged across all project phases—from Schematic Design to Construction Drawings, ensuring a seamless BIM-driven workflow. Our services included:
- LOD 300+ BIM Modeling for architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Coordination between design and engineering teams to resolve potential clashes early.
- Parametric families development to support the unique design elements of the Nickelodeon brand.
- Constructability reviews and model-based clash detection to optimize design integration before construction.
- BIM Execution Plan creation to establish collaboration guidelines between project stakeholders.
Utilizing Revit and Navisworks, our team ensured a precise and coordinated model for a smooth transition from design to construction.
Summary:
The biggest challenge in this project was integrating complex MEP systems within a highly themed architectural design, while ensuring that the immersive entertainment elements didn’t compromise constructability. But at BSPK, We Know BIM Better. Our team streamlined coordination among stakeholders, leveraging clash detection and constructability analysis to resolve potential issues before they became costly field changes. The result? A BIM-driven design that balanced creativity with efficiency, paving the way for a successful project execution.
