Institutional Facility
Project Description:
The Centennial Library is a new branch for the Toronto Public Library, replacing the existing facility with a modern and efficient space for the community. The project required advanced BIM coordination to ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems from design development (DD) to construction documents (CDs)..
Scope of Work:
BSPK provided detailed BIM modeling for coordination, ensuring all disciplines aligned without conflicts. Our team supported DD and CD creation, facilitating a smooth transition from early design to construction-ready documentation. Through precise modeling, we optimized spatial planning, improved constructability, and enhanced workflow efficiency for all stakeholders.
Summary: Library designs demand flexibility and precision, with open spaces, extensive MEP systems, and stringent acoustic requirements. But at BSPK, We Know BIM Better. Our team tackled complex routing challenges, tight ceiling spaces, and evolving design iterations without compromising the project timeline. By leveraging our expertise, we delivered a fully coordinated, clash-free model, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective construction process.
